NIA at the NYC Dance Parade
This May, NIA students danced their hearts out at the NYC Dance Parade in Manhattan. Nearly 200 students, from 11 NIA after-school programs, participated in the NYC Dance Parade on May 20th! Everyone made their own floats, and the students had an amazing time participating in the parade. Many of our student dance teams performed choreographed works, while others participated by improvising dances on their floats.
Schools featured at the Dance Parade included, PS/IS 121, PS 176, IS 281, IS 303, PS 212, PS 295, PS 216, PS 104, PS 244, PS 627, and PS 939.
Although it was raining, the students made the most of it, had a blast, and performed wonderfully, and we are so proud of all of their hard work!
