NIA Annual Senior Picnics Return to Dyker Heights

“NIA’s Annual Senior Picnics Return to Dyker Heights”

Each year, NIA’s Senior Picnics, encourage local seniors from multiple senior centers to connect with others in the area. This week, September 27th-29th, nearly 900 seniors came together at Dyker Beach Golf Club, to attended NIA’s annual Senior Picnics, where they enjoyed food, music, and dancing—as well as the opportunity to make some new friends. The Senior Picnics, which NIA has been hosting for nearly 20years, have become a beloved annual tradition for seniors in the area. NIA appreciates the support of Council Member Brannan, Council Member Kagan, NYS Senator Gounardes, NYS Assembly Member Abbate, and Brooklyn Borough President Reynoso for helping to make this community-building event such a resounding success.
